Embodying Transformation
Through the process of observing bean sprouts growing inside a traditional Korean pottery called siru, she has explored the fundamental truth that creation arises from opposition. The way the bean sprouts grow in darkness and eventually emerge as bright yellow shoots symbolizes the birth of light through the breaking of darkness, deeply inspiring her. She seeks to embody this transformation in her work and visually express change.
By consciously embracing positive energy within negative emotions and transforming them into powerful driving forces, she aims not only for her inner transformation but also to motivate the audience to embark on their own journeys of change and growth. Change is never easy, but she believes that through this process, we can discover true growth and new possibilities. This belief continues to guide her work, providing ongoing inspiration throughout the creative process.
